EPA Lead Risk Assessor Initial

This 16 hour course meets EPA’s training requirements for those individuals that will perform lead-based paint Risk Assessment or Lead Hazard Screening services. A Risk Assessor can perform all of the duties that a Inspector can. In addition, a Risk Assessor is responsible for identifying all lead-based paint hazards, making recommendations for their treatment and recommending maintenance and monitoring schedules. EPA requires that an individual wishing to be certified as a Risk Assessor first successfully complete the inspector class and have a certain amount of education and experience. Class runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
